The Global Goals have gained new heights in Nepal with Yeti Airlines branding their ATRs with the sustainable development goals (SDGs). In partnership with the United Nations, the SDG-branded rollout was unveiled in Kathmandu on September 25 at Tribhuwan International Airport. On hand to celebrate the launch was Yeti Airlines CEO Umesh Chandra Rai and UNDP Country Director Renaud Meyer. Under the partnership, the UN and Yeti Airlines will also collaborate to explore, adopt, and promote innovative and sustainable business models in the aviation and tourism industry that would help Nepal meet some specific SDG indicators in the areas of climate change adaptation, poverty reduction, and gender equality.
