Reema Bishwokarma, Actress
I’m quite afraid of snakes. I don’t know why, but the way they move and act is really creepy and makes me break out in cold sweat whenever even I hear of them.
I fear that somebody would just whisper into my ears when I am asleep. Actually, it’s the effect of watching the ‘so-called Hindi horror movie’ Raaz back in 2002 when I was a kid. Clearly, I don’t remember much about the film, but there was a scene where the spirit would scream into the protagonist’s ears when she was asleep. Back then, this really scared the life out of me, though if I watch the movie now I would definitely have a good laugh. The sad part is that it did play with my psyche really bad, and now I have the habit of covering my ears before I go to bed!

Umm…frankly speaking, I’m nyctophobic. I feel that I might encounter a spirit in the dark, and thus try to keep myself away from darkness.
Anoop Bikram Shahi, Actor/ Model
I have a phobia of heights since my childhood. This fear of heights has always kept me away from any kind of adventurous sport, including skydiving. I’m equally afraid of scuba diving. But, this year, I’ve decided to overcome my fear, and thus have decided to do both bungee jumping and skydiving!
Tenzin Tseten Bhutia , Designer/ Stylist
I’m really petrified of snakes. The way they are portrayed in movies as “Ichyadhari Naag” and the myths about them in Indian folklore have affected me, and I always make sure I don’t ever encounter a snake in my life.
