At the same time, it offers nimbleness and easy-to-use features for daily use, as well as riding excitement in a variety of usage scenarios. According to Assistant Marketing Manager Mr. Binod Maharjan of Yamaha, “This newly launched street model, targeted for biking enthusiasts in the age group of 20s to mid 30s, delivers riding enjoyment along with excellent fuel efficiency and environmental performance.”


Based on a reliable 249 cc single-cylinder engine proven on sport bikes for the Japanese market, the model's engine has been fine-tuned and optimized for Nepali traffic conditions, primarily in the intake/exhaust and ignition systems. Building on the reputation, the new model has been developed with Yamaha's new generation engine development ideal— 'Blue Core'—featuring overall improved performance, including fuel efficiency, acceleration, and environmental friendliness. The model is compliant to BS IV emission standards.


When asked about the upcoming Expo, Mr. Maharjan said, “During NADA Expo 2017, we plan to highlight the all-new Yamaha FZ25. We will come out with a theme resonating to the latest addition to our array of motorcycles that proudly boasts style, technology, performance, comfort, and mileage. We do not plan to make the stall loud and noisy with unnecessary music and sound. Instead, this time, it’s going to be more of product-oriented activation for visitor engagement connecting with our brand and model.” The brand also has a series of plans to engage the customers. As a part of the event, they will have a special activation from Miss Nepal World 2017 Nikita Chandak and Miss Nepal International 2017 and Yamaha Face of Fascino 2017 Niti Shah. They will also have Brand Ambassador Sharad Vesawkar, the popular Nepali national cricket player, engaging and interacting with visitors.


Mr. Maharjan added, “Last, but not the least, Yamaha will rock the entire exhibition with a special performance from Nepal Idol finalists and make the environment musical and entertaining.”

They are world renowned, with the highest residual/resale value all over the world, as well.” The stall to be hosted by Vijay Motors is building up a buzz and promises to deliver a spectacular display.

Arguably the oldest, most experienced automobile brand of Nepal, Tata Motors needs no introduction, or at least makes the introduction a lot easier. Tata Motors is one of the most highly reputed establishments for the production of a wide variety of automobiles, ranging from hefty buses and trucks to elegant and dashing cars. The brand has made its mark with its famous trucks, and has been highly appreciated in the market for all its latest innovations in automobiles with unique features.


The latest release by Tata Motors, through its sole authorized distributor in Nepal, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd., is the Tigor. When asked to elaborate on the specialty of the Tigor, Mr. Arjun Karki of Tata said, “It is the third vehicle to be based on the company’s IMPACT design philosophy. It is branded by the company as ‘StyleBack’, because although it has similar designs to the Tiago, it has a different quality of rooflines, and the rear doors are different, as well. It is in a different segment altogether.” The car is a subcompact sub-4 meter sedan, available in four variants—XE, XT, XZ, and XZ (O), and six different color options—copper dazzle, espresso brown, pearlescent white, platinum silver, striker blue, and berry red. The Tigor has been designed meticulously on the outside with smoked projector headlamps, LED tail lamps, and stylishly integrated high-mounted LED stop lamps. Other unique features of the car are its multi-drive mode (eco and city), its intelligently designed utility space, connect-next touchscreen, infotainment feature by Harman, and the latest anti-lock breaking system and electronic brake force distribution with CSC, to name a few. The car also comes with a standard warranty of four years, or 75,000 km, whichever is earlier, with an option to further extend. Prices for the Tigor petrol start at an introductory Rs.23, 45,000, with the top-spec variant priced at Rs.29, 95,000.


The stall at the NADA Expo hosted by TATA Motors is already subject to much anticipation and excitement. To add to the enthusiasm of car lovers, there will be not only one, but two new releases by Tata at the Expo. The AGM of Sales and Marketing (passenger vehicle business unit) at TATA said, “We are expecting HEXA (new release) at NADA. So, we will be having two brand new products for visitors and buyers, HEXA and TIGOR. Our plan is to provide a never-before customer service experience from our stall at NADA. We are going to attempt utmost brand visibility for our prospects, and ensure the brand association for our customer base.” With this statement of dazzling NADA Expo 2017 with the dynamic duo, TATA Motors is certainly aiming to steal the show.
