Marking the International Pizza Day, Himalayan Pizza celebrated the day with an all-you-can-eat buffet. The culinary works of Chef Deepak Kumar Chhetri were presented in the restaurant in different shapes and sizes with multiple choices in flavors.
The event also showcased an array of unorthodox dishes that included pizza stuffed momo, chocolate and fruit pizza and tuti-fruity pizza.
Explaining the take of pizza fanatics of the unoriginal styles of pizza, General Manager Zen D’Amato said, “Pizza, originally made in Italy now is a global delicacy. It has crossed borders adding different flavors from every corner of the world. We have featured some experimenal pizzas today and so far everyone has loved the idea of experimenting with the food.”
D’Amato further explained that the restaurant would organize such events in the future if they received positive feedback both financially and morally from the guests. Himalayan Pizza, that serves a total of 108 different styles of pizzas, also held a competition on the same day. It was informed that the best reviewer would win free pizzas for two.
