Not everyone wants to be an athlete or a fitness champion, but for those who do, there has never been a better time to be alive! Gyms, trainers, and equipment available to those who want to get their bodies in the best shape and challenge records has never been more abundant. Ultimately, this has led to a huge rise in the number of people training, body-building, and weightlifting, rather than just exercising. Witnessing a huge number of people bulking, sweating, and pushing their limits at the gym is no longer unusual.
One of the biggest effects of this has been the rise in women participating in strength sports. These are sports that only a few years ago were almost entirely dominated by guys. Nowadays, women are as prevalent in most strength gyms as men, working as both trainers and trainees. And, to celebrate this growth, strength competitions for women like Interclub Women Competition have been coming into the scene as well, thereby supporting women empowerment.
With the aim of creating an environment for women where they can make decisions of their own, for their personal benefits as well as the society, Jasmine Fitness Club and Spa Pvt. Ltd. and Ideashop Media and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. will be celebrating International Women’s Day by jointly organizing the 4th Interclub Women’s Squat Competition 2019. The event is scheduled to be held on the March 6 and 7, 2019. The program aims at spreading the message that women are equally as strong and capable as men. In a society where fitness sports’ concepts are regarded only for men, Interclub Women Squat Competition strongly advocates that it is of equal importance to women, as well, and encourages fitness and sportsmanship among Nepali women, making it an ultimate gateway for eventual international participation in the future.
