Engage is a not-for-profit organization founded by Kalpana Maharjan and her husband Simone Galimberti to provide a platform to the disabled. Engage works for youths with disability by supporting their empowerment with different awareness programs and other approaches. Youths with disabilities live in isolation from the society, and to bridge this gap, Engage creates a way for them through sports, employment, and skill building and education facilities. They take assistance from volunteers by organizing different empowerment programs to make their approach successful. Engage also connects with various private organizations to get support for the programs they organize for disability rights.

Turkish Airlines and Engage came together to organize Turkish Airlines Engage Empowering League. Turkish Airlines expressed its support for the disabled by providing title sponsorship to make the tournament successful. This league was a platform to promote awareness about disability, which was designed to advocate the implementation of the new act (Disabled People Rights Act). The match commenced with nine male team from Kathmandu and other parts of Nepal and five female teams. Out of them, Tribhuvan Army Club from the male team and Wheel Chair Sport Association from the female team won the third edition of Turkish Airline Engage Empowering League. This victory made them champions in the court and in their lives.

shrWhile talking to the captains of both the male and female teams, the experiences they shared were very moving. Tilak was a soldier who accidentally was compelled to live a disabled and isolated life. Originally from
