Throughout the week, we drag ourselves out of the bed early, eat whatever is available in the fridge, go to work, sit in front of the desk for eight hours, return home to the same dinner, and sleep. This is what everyone's routine on weekdays sounds like, which apparently calls for adults to wait for weekends, like kids. There is no better feeling than going to bed and not having to set the alarm for the next day, movie bingeing the whole day, taking some time out to cook your favorite food, and spending time with your family and friends.

Nonetheless, "Where are we going today?"is a question that pops up every weekend, but the answer is the same every time, and we end up landing up at the same place we have been going to for ages. However, if you fall among the really weekend lovers, you definitely must have a run of ideas of what to do and where to go on weekends. Well, we have an amazing weekend experience to share with you, one that you would most definitely love to try if you are an outgoing weekender and a dedicated foodie.
Its summer time in Kathmandu, and the heat does not seem to be cooling down any time soon. And so, swimming comes first among the very few outdoor activities to do in summer, as planning for any other outdoor activity in temperatures this high is definitely a tough job.But why limit the fun just to swimming? To spice up your swimming experience, I strongly recommend the weekend brunch by the pool at Hyatt Regency Kathmandu. You can enjoy the perfect weekend brunch with family and friends, besides splashing in the swimming pool, or lazing in the outdoor whirlpool.

The weekend brunch at Hyatt is a very summery and foodie affair. The buffet lined up looked like a dreamland to me. There was almost everything you could ask for a perfect brunch, a wide variety in the vegetarian and non-vegetarian buffet spreads, with a choice of Nepali, Mexican, and Italian delicacies, including barbecue, kebab stations, antipasti, et al. The major highlight was the fountain of chocolate! What more could I have asked for? Kids running in and out of the pool dipped breads in the fountain and rejoiced. There were barbeques going on, chickens being tandoor-ied, and varieties of desserts to choose from. The brunch had so many of my favorites in the menu I could not afford to miss.

Most people who came for the brunch were walk-in guests. As I have been telling from my dining experiences in hotels as such, yes, it is everyone's cup of tea. You can easily walk in to the hotels, pay a decent amount without hurting your pockets, and acquire an experience of a lifetime. And, don't bother about the etiquettes; you learn it only after you experience it!
