The Indian Cultural Centre organized a concert"Prayers for Peace" honoring the president of Indian Council for Cultural Relations Dr. Karan Singh at the Durbar Hall in the premises of Bal Mandir. The musical evening featured Ani Choying Drolma followed by Sukarma and friends, and was attended by dignitaries from the Indian embassy including H.E. Jayanti Prasad, the Indian ambassador to Nepal. Dr. Geeti Sen, director of ICC welcomed the distinguished guests with her opening keynote. After the formal commencement of the evening by the Indian ambassador, Ani Choying Drolma took center stage singing Buddhist hymns and her own tracks. Throughout the evening, she sang Buddhist mantras, and her songs "Phoolko Aankhaama" and "Jay Hos", among others. Sukarma and friends comprising of Trivesh Regmi, Pramod Upadhyaya, Manoj Gautam, and Anil Dhital performed after AniChoying Drolma. The group entertained the VIP attendance with ragas, fusion and classical pieces. 7
