DJ Finzok is mostly on everyone’s list of favorite DJs around town. He was always very passionate about music and its technical aspects, and first started his musical career by writing and composing songs. He was also in a band before he got into DJ’ing. Things changed for him when he discovered the life of a DJ and the creativity it involved. So, when he gave it a try, it turned out he was very good at mixing and creating music.
His style of music is mostly deephouse, but when he is at clubs and gigs, he plays commercial beats from the EDM, Hip-Hop, and Trap genres, which is loved by his audience. DJ Suraj, the 1st Runner Up of the recently held Battle of the DJs (KTM vs. Goa) had no concept of DJ’ing before he started. It was when he went for Changa Chet I Edition hosted at the Club Himalaya that he heard DJ Raju play, famous for his remix of “Chyangba hoi Chyangba”. He saw how DJ Raju was able to enrapture the entire crowd there, which included people of all ages, and make them dance to his tunes. It was then that he realized that he also wanted to create a similar impact, and so decided to try his hands at DJ’ing. He started doing a little research on his own, and then joined Boom International, where DJ Raju also teaches. And, it was through Boom International that his name was suggested for the Battle of the DJs, where he made everyone proud by becoming the 1st Runner Up.
