Based on the interviews of 29 French nationals who came to Nepal for different purposes, and eventually ended up forming a special bond with Nepal and the Nepali people, Tyo Nepal is a book by Dadi Sapkota, and has been published by Jagadamba Prakahsan. While the interviews were conducted in French, the book has been published in the Nepali language thus making the interesting accounts of the French nationals on the Nepal-France relationship available to the wider public here. Tyo Nepal was launched by Jean Romnicianu, Deputy Head of Mission of French Embassy in Nepal, at an event held at Le Bistrot of the Alliance Francaise. While Chairperson of Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya, Kamal Mani Dixit praised the writer for the quality of his work, and expressed his gratitude for the same, career diplomat and former Nepali Ambassador to France, Keshav Raj Jha, gave a review of the book during the event. Commenting about the book, senior editor and journalist Kanak Mani Dixit who was also present at the dais said, "Nepali people are often kept away from the works of French scholars due to the language barrier, but this book will help breach that." He further mentioned that Tyo Nepal was a unique event in the publishing sector of Nepal.
