The poolside garden of Hotel Annapurna was swarming with glitz and glamour in the late evening of 6 May. In 17th edition of Miss Nepal, there were 16 eligible ladies competing for the title and Shristi Shrestha walked home with the crown. The 23-year-old Shrestha won a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and a Pleasure Scooty along with the Miss Nepal title. Subeksha Khadka and Nagma Shrestha were crowned Miss Nepal International and Miss Nepal Earth respectively. Khadka and Shrestha won Rs. 35,000 and Rs. 25,000 cash prize respectively. Nagma Shrestha also won the Sulux Miss Beautiful Smile title, while Shristi Shrestha won Clean and Clear Miss Confidence title along with the grand title. Shree Ganapati Jewelers Miss Photogenic and Samsung Mobile Miss Talent awards were both bagged by Akesha Bista. Annapurna Post Miss Popular Choice was won by Neelam Chand.
