Highway was conducted under the open skies in the majestic Patan Daurbar Square this Saturday. The song, sung by Shuvani Moktan, "Paplu" was screened for an audience that consisted of media personnel, film enthusiasts and members of the film fraternity. The team shared brief details of the movie following the screening of the song. The movie starring Vinay Shrestha, Karma Shakya, Saugat Malla, Richa Sharma and Bidhata KC, among many, basically portrays the intertwined lives of some people stuck on a highway during a Nepal-bandha. When asked about the theme of the movie, the director Deepak Rauniyar explained it to be a sociopolitical movie which shows the situation and aftermath of the bandhas and the physical and psychological stress that comes along with it. "Highway", which was nominated in the 62nd Berlin Film Festival, has the viewers awaiting its release on 20 June with high expectations because of its nomination in the 62nd Berlin Film Festival.
