A fabulous display of the colors of spring and summer were reflected on the dresses on the event organized by Platform 977 on Friday, before an audience consisting of the members from the Nepali film fraternity, fashion industry, fashion enthusiast and media personnel. The gorgeous models made their way through the ramp under the dazzling lights to showcase the collections of designers Astik Sherchan, Manis Bandil and Subexya Bhadel. Stylist Matin Khan also showcased the approach of carrying off semi-casual wears this season. Actor/Model Priyanka Karky was the highlight of the event who walked the ramp in a flattering golden party gown designed by Subexya Bhadel. When asked about the theme of the designs, designer Astik Sherchan explained it being a blend of plain street fabric with technically worked outfits and an ideal way of gelling together formal with informal attire and vice-versa. Subexya Bhadel credited Priyanka Karki for being the inspiration for her designs. She said, "The way Priyanka looks and presents herself truly inspired me to come up with the designs I have presented today."
