At the education program held at Mary Wards School, ASMAN declared that it has been able to mobilize over Rs. 16,00,000 to support over 500 underprivileged students. ASMAN (Association of St. Mary's Alumnae Nepal) is a non-government, nonprofit organization devoted to the cause of aiding and supporting under-privileged Nepali women and children. ASMAN expressed its gratefulness to all the sponsors both individuals and organizations, without whom the program would not have been successful. The renowned singer, Yogeshwor Amatya has also been sponsoring the children regularly. "Providing access to education to the less privileged children is one of ASMAN's primary focus." said Soni Joshi, President of ASMAN. As part of ASMAN Education Program, it handed over books, uniforms and other essential goods to 380 underprivileged students of Mary Ward Schools of Jhamsikhel and Lubhu during the program. Likewise, ASMAN, through the Sky Memorial Foundation handed over goods worth Rs. 100,000 to 155 students of Rhiseswor and Janabhawana Primary School of Makawanpur district.
