Think of the biggest, weirdest, cocky, testosterone-fuelled group you can think of. Then imagine them on national television, agreeing to undertake grueling tasks that intimidate them both physically and mentally. Insane, right? Well this has been going on for some time now at Yamaha FZ Presents Himalaya Roadies. Season 3 has recently hit television screen every Monday at Himalaya Television HD. And of course, Himalaya Roadies is a franchise of the revolutionary Indian reality show ‘MTV Roadies.’

Season after season, the show has drawn the attention of thousands of youth, fueling their excitement to be part of this intriguing reality tv show. For an hour every week, a massive number of viewers tune in to watch Raymond Das Shrestha, Diya Maskey, Laure, Anoop Bikram Shahi and Saman Shrestha make people squirm and cry as they are put through a series of grueling tasks.

To complement the journey that is laid to the challengers, Yamaha FZ series two wheelers has been participants’ perfect fitted artillery.

In Season 3, there’s been an alteration in the format. With gang leaders introduced, not only do participants compete with each other, but now the leaders pride is also at stake. Tasks have gotten more intimidating, if that is possible. The phenomenal landscape of Bhaktapur to Last Resort has perfectly fit to the show, and 37 contestants are embarking on the journey, out of thousands that auditioned all over the country—Kathmandu, Pokhara, Dharan, Chitwan and Nepalgunj.

With the winner set to pocket 10 lakhs and ride away with an FZS FI V3, there’s everything to play for, everything to ride for.

And before you join the Roadies on their road trip, here’s a low-down on what to expect from the new season of the adventure reality show.

With the gang leader format onboard, roadies will be now grouped. Assigned gang leaders will have their own team, and groups will battle it out for supremacy. In the end, the survivors will lock horns for the title.

Season 1 winner Saman Shrestha has joined the groove, bringing his special brand of charisma to the show. Anoop Bikram Shahi has also been added as a gang leader.

After exploring the Wild Wild West, contestants and gang leaders will now conquer the
exotic and adventurous spots of Bhaktapur and Last Resort. Locations and different cultures have always been an integral part of the tasks and we can definitely expect some exciting adventure in the new season.

Whoever says ‘I want to be a Roadie’ also somewhere pines to try their hands at the various tasks that are part of the show. The makers have assured us that this season there will be innovative and mind-boggling tasks which will leave the contestants in a fix. It is definitely going to be the survival of the fittest for the heroes on the show.
